Some users have issues with sessions being logged correctly. They’ll complete a session but the time on that session won’t be reflected correctly. This seems to be related to internet connectivity. Goal here is to investigate and make the logging / updating of sessions more resilient

Right now a tag can only be active or deleted. This feature is to add a new state that allows tags to be archived. This makes it easier for users to select tags when they have past tags that they want for analytics purposes but no longer use

Today Kairu has a light mode and dark mode. This feature would be to create a third theme, not sure exactly what that would be at this point but if users are interested we can do some brainstorming

Today if a user misses a day of focus they lose their streak. The aim with this feature is to allow users to freeze their streaks for certain circumstances

Instead of excluding sessions that exceed the 3-hour limit, could we implement a system that automatically 'caps' them at the maximum allowed time? For example, if a session lasts 3h 02m, the system would just record it as 3h 00m for the ranking. This would prevent users from losing their entire progress due to a simple oversight.

Add a section that shows your lifetime hours and stats as the largest current timeframe is a year. Also the addition of badges and goals such as “Diamond” for 1000 logged hours in a year, and other goals.

I’m not sure if this is significant for others or if it counts as a request, but I would like being able to create at least five tags and ten tasks. I understand the limitations on the features and I do want to support Kairu financially in the future but right now it would just be nice to have these.

Hi Eric, I would like to suggest a streak freeze for those who finish in the Top 10/20 of the leaderboard each month. For fairness and to prevent gaming the system, you could make it such that people can only accumulate 2 streak freezes per cycle and would be halted from getting additional ones until they’ve used at least one of the two they’ve gotten. I think this will be helpful for people who have a long streak but encounter unexpected situations like Emergency hospital visits, laptop/smartphone failure, internet failure, etc. In simple terms, 2 streak freezes a month for users in the Top 10 or 20(your discretion). Each user is capped at 2 streak freezes, so the system isn’t gamed. The streak freezes replenish every month but still capped at only 2. Also, why isn’t this featurebase link in the discord? I think it will reduce some of the messages and make it easier for you to track user requests. Thank you.

Hi Eric, I discovered Kairu a few days ago and I was finally able to use it today on my pc. I was wondering if there are any plans to have a themes option— preferably dark/white mode. It would also be nice to have the choice to make a custom theme in the future. Thank you for making this application, I’ve only been using it for a day but it’s the kind of app that fits me perfectly as a student and daughter with a lot of responsibilities. And I’ve been looking for an app like this for months.

Sometimes adding a tag to a session doesn’t work, and users have to manually go into the Review section to add the tag despite having originally selected it for the session. Need to investigate why this is happening and create a fix
